Gabe Figueroa is a Los Angeles based director and producer working in the creative mediums of film, television, and theatre.

Gabe believes in creating bold stories that provoke internal reflection and social change - and is currently incubating a new television pilot and narrative short for future production. His short film Cold Winter’s Night (2015) was awarded the 2nd Place prize for ‘Best Children’s Programming’ by the Television Academy and received other accolades at film festivals across the US.

Gabe currently produces work for Shots Studios’ slate of clients including Alesso, Rudy Mancuso and Anwar Jibawi. His most notable work includes Lele Pons’ debut music video Celoso. Cumulatively these projects have amassed over 350 million views on YouTube.com. He has collaborated on producing teams for multiple feature films, short films, and music videos, supporting the visions of artists such as Fall Out Boy, G-Eazy, Hayley Kiyoko, Timbaland and Dave East.

On the stage, Gabe acts as the Associate Artistic Director of Hero Theatre – a bi-coastal social activist theatre company seeking to reimagine great works for social progress. In March 2019 he will direct the company’s Hero Song Cycle Cabaret – a special evening celebrating new musical works destined to become the classics of this generation.

 

Gabe is also an associate member of SDC and has seen his producing work on stage at Center Theatre Group (50th Anniversary Celebration), the Belle Reve Theatre Company (Time Alone) and the Latino Theater Company (Encuentro de las Americas, 2017 LTC Season).

 

With each new endeavor, Gabe Figueroa continues to reveal an honest and dynamic style that focuses on celebrating the diverse nature of the human experience. He’s just getting started and looking to realize that next ‘impossible’ dream.
